The ‘The Shape of Faith’, is a multi-layered investigation of ‘faith based’ structures. The physical form of the buildings and structures in which people practice their faith differs widely and is a reflection of the diversity of religious practice in our country.
Typical structures, like those built by the Nederduits Gereformeerde Kerk, are imposing, purpose-built, and mark the landscape. Others are modest and re-purposed having not been designed nor intended for religious practice.
